Green silicon carbide powder for wire cutting of optical glass
Our green silicon carbide (Green SiC) powder is a high-purity precision abrasive material specially customized for optical glass wire cutting processing. Covering mainstream fine particle sizes of 1000#, 1200#, 2000#, 2500# and 3000#, this series of products features uniform particle size distribution, high crystal purity and sharp grain edges, which perfectly meets the high-precision cutting and slicing requirements of various optical glass, lens blanks and optical precision brittle materials.
Manufactured through high-temperature electrofusion, fine crushing, precise classification and multiple purification processes, the green SiC powder boasts stable chemical properties, ultra-high hardness and excellent self-sharpening performance. Compared with ordinary abrasives, it has stronger cutting force, lower grinding heat and no excessive scratching on glass surfaces. It effectively solves common processing problems such as edge chipping, surface scratches and uneven cutting thickness during optical glass wire cutting, ensuring smooth and flat cutting sections.
Different mesh sizes correspond to diversified processing demands. 1000# and 1200# powders are suitable for rough cutting and rapid slicing of thick optical glass blanks, improving overall processing efficiency. 2000#, 2500# and 3000# ultra-fine green silicon carbide powders are applied to finish cutting and ultra-precision slicing of thin optical lenses and high-transmittance glass, delivering ultra-high surface finish and precise dimensional accuracy.
With good suspension and dispersibility, the powder can be evenly mixed with cutting slurry without agglomeration or precipitation, ensuring consistent cutting stability in long-term continuous operation. It is widely applicable in wire cutting of optical lenses, filter glass, precision instrument glass and aerospace optical materials, serving as a stable and high-quality abrasive auxiliary for high-end optical glass processing industries.
